OJT Advisor in the field of Production
/ Mechanical and Electrical / Instruments, Expected to spend at least
30% of their time in the field.

Job duties:

Development of Existing OJT Training
Modules and Training Material for the Technical Course |
 |
Supervision of the Implementation and
Management of the OJT Courses in the Field for the New Graduates
and Existing Staf |
 |
Revise Task Check Lists and Technical
Training |
 |
Monitor Progress against Plan. |
 |
Monitor OJT being carried out by the
training Instructors |
 |
Work with the OJT Instructors and Existing
Staff to ensure Personal Competencies are attained and the Competence
portfolios are completed. |
 |
Ensure that the Required Standards
are maintained. |
 |
Continuously improve the Contents of
the Training Modules in line with Field Developments and Experience
gained. |
 |
Provide Monthly Reports on the Individual
Staff Progress as a measure of Performance against Plan. |

Minimum of (10) years experience in
Technical Training Projects, (5) years of which shall have been
in an Advisory Capacity, a Technical Instructor and have participated

Development of Field Staff Competence up to Supervisor
level, |

Target higher OJT Training Service Levels |

Provide Hands on Training, lecturing and guidance
for Field Personnel (Eng./ Technicians) in Development of their
Technical Competence and Personal Skills till they satisfactorily
attain Supervisor Level. |

Function as a Training Aid for Field Operations
and Maintenance Departments by offering Guidance and Assistance
to relevant Staff through participation in First Line Operations
(FLO) and Condition Monitoring (Con Mon) Surveys. |

Train staff on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of Equipment
Failure and the Measures for Prevention of Future Failures. |
 |
Monitor Individual Progress against Competence Development
Targets and to identify Training Needs and Gaps for Staff under
Development. |

Assist Line Section Heads in Validation of Supervisory
Competence Portfolios through Frequent Staff Mentoring and assessments. |

Ensure the correct Transfer of Knowledge. |

| Qualifications |
Skills and abilities: |

University Engineering Degree in a Technical Subject
/ a full Technical Diploma, equivalent to UK Higher National Diploma. |
 |
Hyperactive and ability to work under stress |
 |
A minimum of Fifteen (15) years Hands-On Experience
previous oil and Gas experience five years of which shall be as
an On-the-Job Instructor working for Middle east companies either
as Direct Hire or through a Contracting Company. |

Note
All Position must possess a level of English equivalent to British
Council achieved level 5C, fluent in both speaking and writing

SAFETY MANAGERS (Construction)
The Safety Manager assumes the lead safety position on the project
Responsible for;
Monitoring and administering a pro-active project safety program designed
to provide assistance in recognizing, evaluating, and subsequently
eliminating or controlling hazardous acts or conditions.
Defining and administering appropriate safe work practices / procedures
for the project.
Promoting a high level of safety awareness on the project.
Administer the First Aid / medical programme.
Design, control and implement an Emergency Response Service for accident,
fire and emergency evacuation.
Must be a graduate, with a recognized engineering degree.
Will be a member of a recognized Safety Body earned by examination.
Will be an auditor approved through a formal examination process.
Should have a minimum (5) years experience of major project safety
management.
Experience of 2 years will be acceptable where the candidate holds
a formal Health and Safety Degree.
Previous Middle Eastern experience is not essential, although it is
desirable.
SAFETY SUPERVISORS (Construction)
Responsible for;
Managing safety of contractors assigned to him.
Providing advice and guidance on technical safety matters.
Producing monthly safety performance reports.
Auditing contractor safety performance.
Identifying areas of weakness in contractor safety programmes.
Encouraging employee safety.
Have thorough knowledge of Permit to work systems, confined space
entry procedures, accident investigation and reporting.
Must be a graduate with a recognized engineering degree.
Will be a member of a recognized Safety Body earned by examination.
Should have a minimum of five (5) years experience of major project
safety management.
Previous Middle Eastern experience is essential.
Part time instructors required.
